Srinivas (Srini) Shankar is the Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Digital Services, responsible for defining and executing the company’s vision and strategy, driving business growth, aligning investments, and ensuring consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence worldwide. He is committed to fostering an enduring culture of innovation and ensuring long-term sustainability in a competitive market.

Before joining Hitachi, Srini held several critical leadership positions at Cognizant and Infosys, where he played pivotal roles in expanding market presence and achieving sustained growth. As Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the Americas at Cognizant, he spearheaded new client acquisition efforts across diverse industry verticals and service lines within Digital Business & Technology services. In his role as Global Head of the Life Sciences business, Srini drove strategic growth initiatives.

Srini is a respected figure in the industry and has been a featured panelist and speaker at prominent industry conferences, including the Wall Street Journal Health Tech Summit, Reuters Events, Google Cloud NEXT, PharmaVoice, and Pharmaceutical Executive.

Srini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, equipping him with a strong foundation to lead complex, global organizations.

Beyond his professional achievements, Srini considers himself a global citizen, having lived and worked in diverse regions such as North America, UKI, Europe, India, and Africa. He resides in the Greater New York Area with his family, where he enjoys playing tennis, indulging in historical non-fiction literature, and traveling in his leisure time.
