12 Years, and Still Growing

I joined the company right after graduation, and it has truly been a remarkable 12-year journey. From the very beginning, I found the working environment to be a great fit for me — supportive, challenging, and full of opportunities.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to take on a range of roles — from engineering and consulting to leadership and management. It’s been a mix of learning curves, new goals, and unexpected lessons — each transition brought new challenges and valuable learning experiences, allowing me to grow both professionally and personally.

While many things have changed throughout this time, one constant has been the guidance and support from my managers, which has played a big part in shaping my path. I’m grateful for the trust placed in me and the opportunities to contribute in meaningful ways.

Looking ahead, I believe there’s still much to explore and accomplish, and I’m excited about what the future holds at Hitachi Digital Services.

Finding Motivation in New Challenges

I’ve never wanted to limit myself to a single role or area — I believe great results come when you’re open to new opportunities and challenges. Taking on diverse responsibilities allows me to keep learning, growing, and contributing in different ways.

Working across various teams and projects has not only helped me build new skills but also keeps things interesting. The work stays dynamic and engaging. It’s not always easy, but the sense of accomplishment and personal growth makes it worthwhile. In a fast-changing industry, I’ve found that the best way to stay ready for the future is to stay curious, stay adaptable, and never stop learning.

What I Learned from Being in High-Pressure Teams

It only matters how you handle the pressure. Success in high-stakes teams like A&I SWAT isn’t about avoiding pressure – it’s about learning how to work through it. Sometimes, it’s not possible to tackle smaller tasks because multiple problems hit at once. You need to prioritize effectively, approach problems from different angles, and most importantly lean on your team for support. It’s not a personal problem; it’s a team effort. That’s something I’ve come to value deeply. We rely on each other, especially when things get tough.

Staying Ready for What’s Next

Like many of my colleagues, I believe in continuous learning and staying open to new ideas. We don’t chase every trend just for the sake of it, but we do keep an eye on emerging technologies and opportunities to improve how we work.

The goal is to innovate thoughtfully — to imagine what the future could look like and be ready to evolve when the time is right. So when change happens, it doesn’t feel like a shock because we’ve already prepared ourselves. We have built the mindset to embrace change.
