My role

I’m a key account manager and directly manage one of the biggest projects in Hitachi Vietnam. As a Project Manager, my core responsibilities are:

Identifying project goals, needs and scope
Planning, monitoring and documenting tasks
Ensuring project deliverables are delivered as planned
Managing all resource needs for project execution: Risk & Issue Management, Time Management, Quality, Cost, Change, Communication, Procurement & Acceptance
Ensure the top-quality delivery and success for the projects

Also, as a key account manager, I am responsibile for overseeing all related projects within my portfolio.

An interesting project I worked on

I feel different projects have different interesting aspects. For instance, the current project has a wonderful working environment with many smart and talented team members. I have gained a lot of experience by just managing teams in different domains as compared to my background. Here in this project, we’re applying the most advanced technologies – IoT, Big Data, Cloud Computing, etc. so in addition to PM skills, my knowledge about other industry domains has improved further.

What keeps me at Hitachi

Hitachi Vietnam have been my second home for years now. There are many things that I am proud of but would like to highlight these two specially:

The first thing is the professional environment, friendly people and inspiring leaders who always listen to you and invest in your growth.
The second thing is that I see my future here and I believe I can contribute and grow much more at Hitachi going forward.

Impact of Hitachi on the industry in Vietnam

In 2020, Hitachi Vietnam was honored as one of leading global IT solution providers in Vietnam by Top 10 Vietnam ICT Companies Program 2020 – it is our 6th consecutive year (between 2014 and 2020). So obviously we’ve had tremendous impact in the local region. Also, revenue and reputation ‘of being top talent destination’ are two of the remarkable aspects that Hitachi is bringing to Vietnam and to the Outsourcing Community at large.
