Impact of Our Operations

We recognize our role in driving climate action, not just in the products and services we offer but also in our direct operations.

Utilizing innovative cooling technology to shrink our carbon footprint in data centers

Digital Services is continuously looking for ways to leverage technology to operate in a more sustainable way. One strategy to accomplish this is through the use of Adiabatic coolers in data centers instead of traditional chillers, as provided by our colocation provider in the Denver Datacenter.

Our GHG Reduction Strategy

Building on our climate strategy, we have completed our baseline for Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions, increased our procurement of renewable energy through reputable energy attribute certificates and advanced our strategy to formalize a GHG emissions reduction road map to inform our target setting and validation through SBTi.

Scope 1, 2 & 3 Emissions

Renewable
Procuring Renewable Energy

Purchased electricity accounts for the largest portion of our Scope 1 and 2 footprint, which is why we understand the importance of Digital Services transitioning to renewable energy through both on-site renewable energy production and sourcing energy covered by credible renewable energy certificates (RECs) and other market-based mechanisms that align with our business operations.

Measurement
Measurement and Transparency

Digital Services intends to quantify our emissions each year, and our commitment to transparency means regular reporting showcasing our progress.

Efficiency
